I have rung the owner, but he is not very knowledgable about cars/rust/what a sill is. He bought it as it is with some restoration done. I was hoping someone might know something about the work done so far?
I know it is a long shot!
Cheers

Photographic evidence suggests this car has had a major rebuild. Such work on a convertible MUST be carried out by a knowledgeable and thorough person. Also the car is a converted saloon so there are very important strengthening panels that should have been added.
You need someone in the know to look at this car for/with you. Someone local to Cranbrook may pop up in a minute and offer to help.
As far as the work required, the interior is a fairly straightforward undertaking if you have some reference material to hand. Most panels and the seats just bolt or screw into place. What you see is what you get in these cars. there's very little hidden to confuse you as to placement etc.

Hmmmmm. Tempting. I've got a complete new red Newton leather interior in the roof space that would fit that just perfectly.
What is it likely to go for?

Are there any photos online that show the strengthening panels that should be used?
