Does any one know where I can obtain a set of the mild steel clips that hold the brake pipe to the axle ?

I have looked on many BMC related suppliers bu no joy.

Thanks

I think most people use plastic zip ties these days. Not original I know but I haven't seen anyone selling the original clips either...

Cable ties or Jubilee clips. The orginal ones were two bits of bent wire with a screw and nut to tighten them up. I probably have a tin full of them in the garage.

Are these ones made out of flat steel strip and look like a flattened tie-wrap? I've got some brass ones and I'm sure a laser-cutting company could make a few hundred for the price of a case of beeer.

Mine were a primative form of Jubilee clip, the same as the hose clamps. Should have a few spare.

They will be similar to yours AU, but the brass one's are 1/4" wide whereas these are 1/2" wide (twice the width! )

Hi

I think these might be the same as the ones you are after - item 34. Of course they may not look like the illustration but worth checking out.
