Correct Tourer Car number?

Is this a correct car number for a tourer? Any idea which year is this?

Yes, it's the correct number for a convertible:

F - Minor
C - Convertible
T - Light green
2 - Right hand drive export
1 - Synthetic paint

Chassis no: 563802 - late 1957

Which means my car orignal colour is Light green? Any pictures of what green is it?

If you apply for a BMIHT Heritage Certificate it will tell you the specifications of your car when it was built.

1957 so it could be Sage Green, but as it is 2 colours now (re-sprayed?) it could be the later Porcelain Green (1961-2) - same colour as the one in my post pic- tiny bit showing bottom right.

Thanks Mike i will check on that.

Minty's 2tone is a custom colour that my dad did. I quite like it though, it is not an original colour but this colour scheme seems to suit a tourer.

Hi Jason,

I think your car would have originally been sage green as that was the only light green in use in 1957. Here's a link to a site with some photos of a sage green car:
