I am in the States and looking at a 58 Traveller that has not run in 20 years and burned oil when it was put away. Nice interior and body, very good wood. He is asking $4,200 USD I think that is about 6,700 pounds. What do you think is a good price for this car, seems high? I can do the mechanicals but still I think it is bit high but these are much more difficult to find here LHD.
Thanks,
Martin

Hi
Your conversion usd to gbp is the wrong way round - works out at about £2600 which sounds like a fair price for the car you describe. You would pay about that to have new wood fitted and a bit of welding done in the uk!

Cloud,
Maybe fill out your profile and who knows, you might be close to me so I can have a look at your Traveller. It really depends on the condition, economy in the states, etc. You might want to hook up with this club here in the states, Tony Burgess is very knowledgeable about Morris Minors:
Morris Minor Registry of North America, Tony Burgess, 318 Hampton Park, Westerville, Ohio 43081-5723, USA. Ph.614.899-2394, Fx. 614.899-2493
Hope this helps,
Steve
