Marrina / Ital Disc Conversion

On http://www.jameswhiting.com/page11.html there is a kit for changing an Ital rear axle to disc brakes. The cost is £793.11 + VAT.

Iam sure that it could be done a lot cheap using scrapyard parts. Sierra discs and calipers should be able to be made to fit. All you would need is a bracket welding on to hold the caliper. Has any else thought about trying this, has any one done this ?
