How can I get the lock barrel out of the boot handle.I dont have a key for it. I bought a new barrel and key so I can lock the boot.

Is it a case of having to drill out the barrel?

Forgot to mention.

I already have the handle off the car.

I think (it's been a while since I did one) that if you look under the handle you will see a very small diameter pin that you have to knock out. If not, then I don't know

just had a look at it and thats it.
Theres a small brass pin that goes right through the barrel.
Push it out and the old barrel falls out.
New one now fitted.
