Gearbox knob

Post by rvwp »

Hi all, finished my 65 moggie at last. Front Disc brakes, Servo and Saab 9000 leather seats. However does anybody know of an aftermarket larger gearbox knob that will fit the Minor gear lever. My good lady finds the original knob too small and as she is the main driver, to keep her happy I want to fit a larger one, thanks Rich
Image

Image

Image
Or how about getting one of these from Club Regalia? I've got a wooden one and find it easier and more comfortable to grip than the standard gear knob. A bargain at only £4.50 inc. postage  :
Image
It probably wouldn't be difficult to fabricate one with resin or bodyfiller moulded over the existing gearlever knob.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
