Waterproofing a hood

I am nearing the end of our convertible project and need to waterproof the double duck canvas hood , Renevo sell a product , has anyone used this or can you suggest anything else?

No disrespect to anyone on here but ensure you get some advise that is professionally based. The double duck hood I had on my first convertible (non original) was a canvas/rubber/canvas sandwich that was bonded together. I forsee the potential for that sort of hood to delaminate if the wrong sort of chemical waterproofing is applied.

I believe that duck canvas dosen't need proofing,its got a plastic membrane and should be waterproof

Indeed, but I can see the advantage of a suitable waterproofer if it could resist the ingress of dirt, grime and mildew.

You could always try asking the specialist in Kent.
