Hi I got a new timing kit from Bull Motif,Ive added a link showing a picture of the kit,the question I have is where does the Black rubber ring in the foreground of the picture go.I know the gear goes on then oil thrower and then the felt ring.

Sorry maybe it's just my computer but I can't see any picture when I click your link. Is the black rubber ring the timing cover oil seal?

Description says
Timing Chain Kit With Gears(Complete kit with top and botton gear wheels)
It looks like the timing cover oil seal to me.

The kit does not come with fitting instructions,
so the oil seal fits in the timing cover then

yep that's the one.
Be sure and centralise the seal by temporally fitting the front pulley before you tighten the timing cover.

Not too sure about that camshaft timing sprocket - does it have the 'grooves' to take the rubber 'tensioner' rings ? If not - then it's the sprocket for the later Mini type timing arrangement - which has to be run with an external spring loaded tensioner (and the matching 'bulged' timing case - or it will rattle horribly in no time at all!

The sprocket has the tensioner rings fitted on each side.

So it will still rattle before long! Those tensioning rings dont do much!

Good - at least they are there (not obvious in picture) - it's all you can hope for without spending quite a bit more.
