I just noticed today that the exhaust on one of my cars was spluttering slightly when idling. I had a look and it appears that a bit of water from the exhaust had formed at the end of the outlet pipe and the exhaust was making a sort of spitting noise.
Is this normal or a sign of a problem somewhere ?

Yeah. I had only just moved the two cars out of the shed for a bit of spring cleaning so I had both of them running while I was working just to tick them over. It was a bit showery at the time too so that would probably explain it. Thanks.

find the lowest point on the silencer and drill a small hole about 1mm to alow the condensation to run out while the car is parked overnight,stops rusting on the inside of the system. I use a nail and drive it through the silencer at its lowest point close to the welded end,dos'nt effect the system but does stop the condensation from pooling,Not a problem if used everyday it gets blown out,but if used then stored for long periods can rot the box in a very short time.
