my not-happening restoration

I have a 1969 Traveller which I took off the road two years ago, as the wood was very rotten. Having stripped off the wood work I found extensive rot, which had been hidden by the wood. This was repaired by my local garage, and the car returned to me for rebuilding. I bought new wood, and while the chassis was away, I lashed on layers of Cuprinol, then even more layers of Danish oil. Eventually I trial-fitted the new wood-------and there the project stopped. For various reasons ( which I won't bore you with) I haven't touched the car for a year now, and am unlikely to do so. However, I believe the car still has a future, but probably not in my hands. Now, the point of this ramble is, does the car have any value as it stands? As mentioned, it has complete new wood, which has cost probably around £800, and I have spent in excess of £600 on repairs.
I know its like asking how long is a piece of string, but is there a market out there for my poor little car?

Yes of course it has a value! Just look at what sells on Ebay to see projects like yours change hands frequently. (The fact that you have new wood will be doubly attractive.) I'd want to buy it if I needed another project, but I'm suffering from lack of covered storage as it is!

I'm sure it has a very real value - rot all fixed -with new timber - so it's just a big Meccano set really!

My neighbour in Llantwit Major was looking foor a Minor Trav for his family. He isn't a welder or painter but as an ex site manager for Wimpey Homes he is probably capable of nailing a few bits of Ash together. Some pics are probably the next step, if you can mange it.
Thanks
Rob

Restoring the car is one thing, but pictures!!!! I'll se what I can do.
Rob, I'm only about 30 miles from Llantwit. If your mate fancies coming to see it, give me a ring. 07811 839187
