Thanks, Shame. I have acquired the original Excise registration book for it and wanted to return it to the owner of the car.

The reg is currently on a Nissan..... so the moggy may still exist on another plate.

PEL 264 was the original plate for WFF 860.

Check the chassis numbers, the one in the log book matches the one on the car.
