This section is for letting everyone know what you are up to with your current restoration project!

Questions, queries, updates, everything to do with your restoration project including (and especially) regular updates.

NOT for advertising incomplete/unfinished projects. Keep those in the for sale section

Get that Minor on the road!!!

It might be useful when starting a thread to include in the title the type of Minor you're restoring eg Van, Traveller, split screen, convertible, and maybe the year? That way it will be easy for visitors to the site to identify a restoration thread relating to their own vehicle.

I'll start to move a few established restoration threads here to get the forum started

Thanks Mods! This section was really needed.

For those of us who are going to post our project news here I would suggest that putting your registration in the thread title would be a good way of distinguishing between numerous '1968 Traveller/Saloon etc Restoration' thread titles six months down the line. I'll be using the title 'BJH 914F 1968 Traveller restoration' very soon!

Or maybe add your name eg Dryad's 1968 Traveller Restoration? It will be a lot easier to remember the name of the 'restorer' rather than the vehicle's registration number.

You've got a point there. I suppose I was thinking from my own point of view, as I have always found it easier to remember number plates than names

I'm sad enough to be able to remember the registration of every car I've owned in the last 25 years, as well as all of the ones my parent's have owned back to the mid-1960's! And then there's telephone numbers....

Absolutely right Dan - but then again inflating the tyres is a major job for the likes of me
