interior things
if lily b doesn't die from the various hisses and chugs before next september, i have been volunteered as a wedding driver - now outside she looks good, but i will want new carpets (i see that bull motif get recommended a lot) and the piping round the door frames will also need redoing - any ideas?
and - very odd - you know those flowers that indian cabs have - anyone know where to buy them?

on the engine / electrics thing i am getting the red light a fair bit in static traffic, without a radio and heating on - what was the drill for that again?

Shamelessly nicked from a web page.
Good flowers for garlands are nerium odorum, marigold, jasmine, tube rose, champa etc. Nerium odorum is the most heavenly fragranced flower, commonly grown and available in peninsular India. In South India it is fairly common in venis and malas. You can use any flower you fancy, its just that highly fragranced flowers are usually preferred. Roses and hibiscuses tend to be inserted in the hair singly, but there is no reason why they could not be incorporated in a multi flower garland. Leaves can also be interspersed between the flowers. If you keep ready garlands in a thin plastic bag in the fridge they remain fresh for a couple of days.
I think the simple answer is Marigolds.
