i thought it was but someone said it was a sidevalve then i got all confused as this was the original engine in my 1954 morris

Side valve is USHM
U = Engine type
S = Side valve
H = Horse power rating = 8hp
M = Morris engine
APHM =
A = A Series
P = Push rod
H = 8hp
M = Morris
