Excellent ! Well done to all. One moggie saved, one Hyundai less in Tesco's car park. Am I the only person who thinks that this is the natural habitat for these "Characterless conveyances" ?

Mr Cook put up £1,000 of the £2,000 the customer would have got under the scheme, and Hyndai made up the difference.
Erm.. Hyundai put up £1000 under the scrap scheme, so basically they didn't do anything.
All praise to the dealer though! At least there's a franchise owner out there who understands the public's view of classics, not just looking for a fast buck.

As for Hyundai's - They are perfectly good cars in comparison with the rest of the new cars on the market! They are trying to pitch their cars above/equal to VW etc.. although it'll take a while as people judge cars on many things other than quality and technology.
