on a 1962 948cc minor where do you fit the pump / switch on the dash , my previous later car had it fitted on the row with the choke and lights etc but all the spaces on mine are taken up with the pull start etc

There is a special bracket for it to mount under the dash on the drivers side. I might have one so I'll try and get a pic tomorrow for you....

Replace the wiper switch with a light switch and use an electric pump wired in to the headlight terminal.

Kenny, this is obviously a heater control but the bracket is the same as the washer pump.....

I found the bracket today, just have to drill it out a bit as the hole is too small to accept the washer push

Stephen , its great to be making progress , I try to do some wee job each day to keep up the momentum , going to varnish the new boot floors the previous owner had made , today , the wood looks too nice to paint black . I will try to fit these with bolts and wingnuts for easy renewal.Rebecca and I have painted the floor with smooth black hammerite, I sealed a couple of gaps between floor and gearbox cover with clear silicon , cant find the rubber covers for gearbox fill and steering greasing , must check spares car .
Glad you got voted back on last night,
Kenny :D :D
