I went to a local firework display this evening that had a funfair running as well and couldn't believe it when i saw these!

Sorry for the quality, but i only had my mobile with me!

They are fibreglass and look the same as the Minor Junior that was produced by Charles Ware a few years back. I was chatting to the owner about them and he said that he was unsure of where they came from but had been on the ride for at least 10 years!
Before you ask, no, they were not for sale as i did enquire!
The owner said he came from the Oxford area

Good to see they haven't been traded in under the scrappage scheme for Toymoto Priae. Let's hope they encourage some younger interest in Minors but also hope that it doesn't lead people into assuming that a Morris Minor is really a fairground ride

May not be Thomas! May be Stevie the Steam Train (cf You Tube) - not for the easily offended!

I thought you might! It is quite funny - but of course it's not right to make fun of anyone stuttering

I would love to be able to get one of these for my grandson.
Have been watching Austin J40's on E-bay for some time but even
rusty wrecks go for hundreds of pounds.
