Brake Shoes

Will early front brake 7" shoes fit late 7" drums? I know they have the extra notch cut in them.

The 7 in front brake shoes fit all Minors from Series MM to 948
The 8 in front brake shoes fit 1098
The 7 in rear brake shoes fit all Minors
The 7 in rear shoes are different from 7 in front shoes
Unless the brakes have been upgraded

Thanks guys. I want to get hold of a nice NOS set of Ferodo's etc. for MOT purposes. I've found the new bonded ones that I get have shall we say an 'undulating surface' and take a bit of work adjusting up.
