Lubrication - quick question...

Post by GeorgeHurst »

I just want to check which grease I should be using when topping up track rod ends / prop shaft universal joints etc. Referencing the workshop manual I think it should be Castrol LM, and I just want to check I'm using the right stuff.

Engine is 20/50, gearbox is 20/50, copper grease for threads... should I get any other lubrication 'on my shelf'?

Cheers,
George

Castrol LM or similar for all the grease nipples. The book says use oil in the steering rack but a lot of people use grease instead
