Oil pressure gauge

Post by SvMinor »

Is it possible to buy a complete kit to fit an oil pressure gauge.
Ive checked out a few posts on the site and they seem simple enough to fit.
I looked on Bull motif site and they do 3 parts relating to oil pressure

1 Oil pressure switch tapered thread type
2 Relief valve and spring
3 Oil pressure switch alter end connector.

What parts do I need to fit an Oil pressure guage, and where can I get the T connector in order to keep the light on the speedo.
Cheers Mark

Try your local motor factors for a kit or ebay if you use it....

I checked Ebay but I thought the kit would have to be specific for a minor.
The switch etc are they a standard fitment.
What about the T connector

1/8" BSP fitting - Standard on every British car of the era and certainly any kits out there would accomodate this size (asuming all parts were present in the kit). Some provide a universal taper adaptor and some come with a selection of adaptors.

T connector screws into block in place of the switch - which then screws into one leg of T - and the gauge fittings go in the other leg. Most of the Mini places will do you a kit. Try Minispares or Minisport.
