A new lease of life

After getting my newly bought car back from the garage, having had a good service,( the first one it's had in years) Ive started getting the interior cleaned and found how 1/2 an Aerial tablet in warm water get's rid of grease off the vinyl as long as you wash off with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
The interior has come up a treat. I'm definitely not mechanically minded but am going to have a go at little jobs under the bonnet when they arise.
I've been studying this forum closely, and it's great to know that if I get in a pickle I can just post on here and get some help.
I'm having some paintwork jobs done professionally and then I shall post some pictures.
It's really satisfying taking a car that hasn't been used for a while and getting it back on the road.
Gave it a spin up the M25 to Chertsey Minors and back the other day and certainly got a few looks, and even had her picture taken by a couple towing a car back to the Netherlands. She definitely held her own along with all these modern cars.
Must get back and do a bit more on the interior.
