Searchlight, keep it or not?

Post by Shawn »

G\'day All,

Inspired by RobThomas' post about the ultimate MM pose, I fitted this last weekend. What do folks think? ( I've asked the same question on the Down Under Forum, but I'm still undecided, so I'm going global.)

Naff and a pose?
Or the coolest thing evar?

Quite common on 1950's Fords in the UK
Looks a bit oversize on a Moggie, but must be useful at times

I had one fitted to my first Minor van in the 60's, also an eagle on a globe mascot mounted on the bonnet, both lasted about a week before they were nicked. :(
