Engine Number

Post by taupe »

Hi

My spare traveller has an engine number RKM1121E 143--

The rocker cover is green but the rest of the engine is in silver.

I assumed that it was a replacement silver seal engine but what is this engine from and what is the likely spec??

Thanks

Taupe

Would need to see a picture or two! If you take the rocker cover off - look at the head - if it has casting number 12G202 - then that's a 1098 head - fair chance it's a 1098 engine!

If you look through these threads you'll see that it's a 1098 engine. RKM is the code for Unipart engines and the 'E' denotes that it is replacement unit.
