HELP - I've lost the instruction book that came with my SIP 130T Mig welder. :( If anyone has this particular model and is willing to send a photocopy of their manual it would be much appreciated. It goes without saying that I will pay for all the costs involved, postage etc.

Have you tried to phone SIP directly?

Thanks for that suggestion, that was to be my next step but I did in fact write to them last Thursday explaining my predicament. A4 brown envelope arrived yesterday morning with large SIP address label attached, enclosed within was a photcopy of said instructions, well done SIP. :D

No Matt, that's all that was in the envelope. I must have grovelled sufficiently  .
But in the grand scale of things, for the cost of their postage and a dozen sheets of A4, they've kept a customer happy.

Well 10 out of 10 to SIP, as you only wrote to them on Thursday, they must have a good customer relations department a pity all companies are not like that.

It's nice when that happens, isn't it? Renews your faith in customer services.

I asked Ronseal whether one of their shed stain thingummies would work over the oil-based treatment the joiner put on our shed and the operator said she didn't know but would try and find out. Next day, three small pots of woodstain came through the post with a note - she wasn't sure, but thought they might work. Only thing to do was test them!

No it doesn't happen much these days, but full marks to any company that treats customers, past and present, well. An individual will be more likely to buy from them again and pass on recommendations.
My letter was addressed to the company only and no specific department so their mail distribution must be pretty efficient also.
