Clutch tweeting noise?

Any ideas on this one? There's a tweeting noise when the clutch is not in use. Only have to touch it with your foot and it stops! It's driving us nuts....... I can only think it might be something vibrating on the clutch plate - let me know if you have any ideas.

Is there sufficient free-play in the pedal - and is the return spring in place - and effective ? Does sound like the release bearing must be rubbing slightly against the pressure plate.

Um - bearing in mind I've just had a new pressure plate fitted presumably this is a job for him to get sorted? Would he have to take the gearbox out again?????

Probably just needs a little adjustment or a return spring fitted.
No need for the box to come out again :) .

Been thinking a bit more about this - it's a hydraulic clutch so would it have one of these return springs? and if not could it be something else?

Just a further bit of info - it's not the original minor carbon release bearing it's a ford one if anyone knows what the difference is!!

Hopefully it's a ball bearing - and the noise is because it's gently touching the pressure plate. I would imagine a return spring should be fitted - but I'm no expert on these non-standard clutches.
