Thanks

On a 1098cc Minor engine:

0 thou overbore = 1098cc
10 thou overbore = 1106cc
20 thou overbore = 1115cc
30 thou overbore = 1124cc
40 thou overbore = 1132cc
50 thou overbore = 1141cc
60 thou overbore = 1150cc

All to the nearest cc.

it doesn't add 30 mph to the top speed tho :(

That's because the Moggy weighs a bit more than a moped!!!

as wind resistance is the square of speed, and the frontal area of a Moggy at about 4 times that of a moped+rider, then the power required to make a moped go at 30mph will probably add about 1.4 mph to the top speed of a Minor ;-)
and as you only added about 30cc not 50cc it'll be lees than 1mph :o

its pulls up hills a lot better than the blue smokey one before it! and when a guy came to look to buy the car he said it was the best engine he had ever heard! but he didn't buy it :)

well the more time a buyer looks at a rattly + smoky engine thinking if it's got many miles left, the less time he/she has left to spot the other faults

almost definately...... but i'm gonna do my best to make sure it doesn't!!!!! My parent's are going to try and sell it over easter! (bad idea - i'll remove the rotor arm or put on a dodgy HT lead so it only fires on 3.........)
