Its update time!!!

Post by youngun »

Evening all,

Yes I know I havent been on here in ages but its been an odd last couple of months with various things......(family bereavement, going to university etc).
Anyways, update time!

Back axle and springs, complete with poly bushes..........on, and it fitted perfectly! After all the welding i was unsure but nope, bolted straight on!

Got the offside front suspension on too, new top and bottom trunnions with new poly bushes. The other side is to do. Whats the best way to set the torsion bars so i can drop down what is a effectively an empty shell so it can be wheeled around the garage?

Engine bay partially stripped, hoping to get more done on the next trip back down home!
Pictures to follow shortly.

Well done - just trial fit the torsion bars and leave everything quite loose to allow it to settle - and then reset them correctly once you get some weight into the car and can see how it sits.
