Factory fitted RADIO for a Morris Minor

Post by ayr41 »

Just out of interest was there ever a factory fitted radio build as standard with any of the Morris Minor range, if so what type and model was it, or did the dealerships just fit them as an optional extra.

An HMV radio could be ordered as an optional extra on Series MM and Series II cars. After that they were a dealership fit so probably whatever was in stock.

He wasn't keen on people talking to him while he drove either :)

Apparently he warned people that in China talking to the driver was illegal.

If so, then why did he fit gaps for speakers in the front scuttle panels?
