Rigged for hydraulic clutch actuation - so not for a Minor! Maybe A35 or A40 - or 948 Spridget. Dunno which ones use hydraulic clutch - maybe all of them!

Well there has been a hydralic conversion available for the Moggie for some years.

Obviously can be used in a Minor - just change the operating arm!

That would probably explain the reverse light switch fitment - Thank you...

Same internal gear ratios as the Minor.
Are you sure about the reversing light switch? I thought that they were only fitted to the 1275 box, I can't find any reversing lights in the wiring diagrams for the earlier models.

Me too! Pretty sure Spridgets of that era didn't HAVE reverse lights! Maybe the switch is for the overdrive ?

Yes, could be for over drive switch I guess. There is a boss on the back of the remote housing with a threaded plug in it so I assumed reverse light switch but not sure for certain.....

Even less likely to be fitted with overdrive. Only Spitfires had that luxury and the ex Triumph managers of BL, or what ever it was called on that day, made sure it stayed that way.
There should be a plug on the side for the gearlever anti rattle spring and plunger, another for the reverse plunger detent and a third for the gear lever locating peg.
