what brakes to use
Is it possible to adapt polo discs and calipers to fit a traveller?

yes it is but you can not use them and retain the standard minor steel wheels..

Well just to set things jumping I've got the 9" wolesley drums,
Now don't get me wrong 7 and 8" drums actually work, and if you drive like its 1965 there shouldn't be a problem.
