I agree with Jonathon in the new member post which was locked whilst I was typing this response - there needs to be someway we can rank suppliers, therefore newbies can spend thier hard earned cash with reputable suppliers, rather than someone out to make a quick buck.

I realise the issues the owners club could face, and it would be awful if the forum were to close as it is a fantastic resource, so what if I created a page on my site where votes could be made therefore removing responsibility from the club?

i would be very careful.. you are now the responsible party and are therefore liable.. and ignorance is no defence in law

but surely I could have a page where people could express thier opinions. There must be a legal disclaimer that could be used or something! Its so frustrating! What about freedom of speech lol.

I believe that any site which asks for both positive and negative comments would be shut down in a matter of days by a trader who felt victimised or maligned, (so don't do it) :D
I feel that with the correct support, from both the MMOC and more importantly its members 'you' that a system could be instigated which would provide the information you require.
As I mentioned before in my other post the MMOC are supposed to hold complaints made by members, but when asked about this a few yeaes back only 6 complaints had been registered that year all but 2 were about problems in gearbox supply, despite the fact that I knew of several members who claimed to have made a complaint.
My view is why hold the information if its not going to be used.
