does anybody have guidelines for towing ie axle weights max towing weights for a traveller

The workshop manual gives the kerbside weight of the Traveller as 1821 lbs/826 kg.
Towing weight for all Minors is given as 1344 lb/609.5 kg.

There's not a lot of strength or torsional rigidity in the rear floor of a Trav - don't go mad!

Not planning such an event anytime soon - but when the time comes it certainly would be an idea! It was a serious suggestion - there may be folks who would be interested! Rather go in that than some non-descript Ford Mundaneo conversion - or a horse and cart!
