Copper fuel pipe??

The minor is on its side and I thought I would replace the rusty fuel pipe while I'm at it.

Being a heating engineer, I have some suitable sized copper pipe. Does anyone know if it would be ok to use this. It's pure copper rather than that stuff that is used for brake pipes which I think is a mixture of copper and something else.

I suppose the bottom line is: will the fuel react with it?

Thanks

It will be fine - but dunno how you will make the connection at the tank.

I got a complete new one for £20 from ESM and took minutes to fit. Is it really worth the hassel?
