right, this has me confused and i hope you can all help.

1969 morris 1000 with a wolseley 1500 diff with a ratio of 3.73:1.
this was done as my brother managed to put the car in reverse whilst doing 60. Dont know how he did it, but the diff came out in bits.

it has smaller 14inch wheels. it has the original gearbox and speedo.

these 2 factors make the speedo go nuts at any opertunity, to the point where it gives readings of 75-90mph readings.

essentially this is doing my nut in, but i cannot think of a solution, please help

You will need a speedo with a TPM of around 1350 with the 3.7 diff. If the needle is bouncing around alot then you will need to grease the cable too (or replace it) ps 14" wheels are standard on a Minor....

i had a feeling that they where standard wheels, but dad was supremely confident they where smaller.
so, would a mini speedo do the job or maybe something a little more exotic?

Look on the Series MM website, http://seriesmm.mmoc.org.uk, under Vehicle Ident. Scroll down and there is a table of different speedos.

You need a Mini 1348 tpm speedo - plenty on ebay last time I looked - mine cost me £5 or so. Ask vendors to confirm that tpm figure before bidding.
