Dear Mike and All,
I wish tosay a general thanks for the kindess I have received in getting my little love back on the road.
As I said, I did a sort of appreticeship, ie. working in a garage every vacation when at uni, but that was a hell of a long time ago. As Dr. of Psychology I know a bit about the insides ofg folk's heads :) but have largely forgotten what I knew about cars. It is coming back though. My wife and I glad we joined the Club and hope to be able to meet up with some of you. At the moment traqvel is not possible, my mother-in-law is 100 years old this October. She is well but frail, we cannot leave her for any length of time. When she passon on, or as we say in Wales, walks over the Pass into Summer's Valley, we shall be a bit freer.
The best to everyone,
Robert and Julia

Dear Beech,
A good hardwood, great for carving love spoons, my hobby when hot doing anything else <grin>.
Mum, no, can't restore her and even ifg I could she says quite firmly, !I've had enough, a hundred years of life is plenty, I'd like to go home and get some rest." They are my words but catch the meaning of what she says very often now.
