Hi - Is it practical to use a 1275 head on a 1098 engine? Thx Nick

Yep except you have to cut the exhaust valve seat in a further 1mm or so to make sure it doesnt ding the block (and bend the billyo out of itself)

Doesn't neccessarily need valves recessing, mine didn't!
Gives a huge kick in the mid range upwards, if done in conjunction with the HIF38 carb/manifold and a free flowing exhaust!
Plenty of useful recent threads about the mod, also one by myself chronicling what I did to acheive it (search on "some observations...")
