Ideas for MOT-UK 2010

To avoid any confusion with MOT, I am starting this thread to replace the previous one called, "ideas for MOT 2010".

I would like to hear from anyone interested in next year's event, together with suggestions for venues and dates.

To get the taste buds going, here is a picture of this years BBQ. Incidentally before anyone asks, that's Ribena in my glass

To save duplicate posts would it not be better to just amend the title of the original 3 page thread to include "UK"? Just a suggestion.

If you could do that now it would be much appreciated. I will then edit my post accordingly.

Thankyou. Could you please also move the first two post from here to the old thread, and delete the rest?

It would need to be at least late June for me as uni term finishes on the 18th. :( Personally, I was happy with the dates we had this year.

I agree with Stevey, it was great fun this year and I urge anyone that can to come along and join us.

Thanks Andy.

So late June anyone, or further suggestions?

The only thing I have to take into account is organising the LEO Run week, i.e the first or second week of August. This is yet to be confirmed.

Pembrokeshire.

Go on - you know it makes sense, and my home county is SOOO beautiful!

There's a campsite right behind Newgale beach which would be perfect!

OK, late June seems good for some. What about the rest of you?

I shall add Pembrokeshire to the list, but does that mean that you two are definitely interested?

I certainly am unless something disastrous happens next summer... like I actually manage to find a summer job unlike this year

Yeah, I'm in, if it's Pembs (where I live and work). Work requirements mean I can't go away for a weekend, but I could wangle all of a Saturday and most of a Sunday in Pembrokeshire. Animal Jack, on this forum, lives close by as well. There are at least two others (one in my village) who are classic car nuts, and at least two other Morris owners. One of them has a beautiful soft-top and parks it by the Cleddau Bridge, where he occasionally works. Animal Jack will probably know who that is, I'm sure, since he lives below the Cleddau Bridge himself!

Well the national rally is likely to be late June, i'm happy with either of those, as long as its after the end of term!!

Same here. I'm ruled by the uni term.
