Poor old girl.

Still, I guess there are still plenty more around, and at least this one has had a bit of fame, unlike the ones that are stolen and burnt out or ones that are crashed.

How do you know it's the one used on Heartbeat?? Usually these TV placement cars are highly sought after and attract a premium in price (I believe the Lovejoy one sold for huge amounts some time ago), so it seems a bit strange they would let it rot like this....???

I think you will find that is the one that stood outside in the garage car park area, if you look at the vehicle section you will see oscars car, the photo taken in 2007.

I don't suppose there was any sign of the green Austin A35 that always used to be in and around the garage?

They're all still there, that Moggy aint moved a wheel since 2001 as it's only a film set prop.
I often drive through there as it's only 30 odd miles away and through the most beautiful countryside in North Yorkshire, I was there a few weeks ago in my Gazelle and went on the steamtrain ' sir Nigel Gresley ' fantastic, as usual

Hi Kevin, sorry for the delay in replying to you... I've not been too grand again after visiting a show last weekend at Raby Castle. It tends to knock hell out of me now but I still go when I can, apparently I'm suffering from 'a mispent youth' well that's what the nurse calls it :D
I sat with my mate and his son who bought my Moggy off me, they are keeping it in ex; cond; so I'm happy about that.. must admit I've never seen so many wonderful split screens lately, they seem to be getting very popular in this area and some good examples at that show.
I'm looking foreward to an excellent steamshow this Sunday even though it won't do my lungs any good I'll be there but am expecting to be rough again next week after it.... but will suffer happy  :D
Image

Image
