Hi all,
We got tipped off on a '71 traveller for sale the other day, the owner says it has been sitting in his garage unused for around 2 years so of course has no MoT, but he did bits of work on it before forgetting about it (new woman in life!) so had new brakes and cylinders etc.. all round.
He says the bodywork/woodwork is in good condition but it 'may' need welding around the jacking points.
He wants £1200 for it.

I'm yet to have a look at it as I thought I ask you first, i thought it may well be a case that the jacking points just require chopping off! Who knows!
What do you think? what should it be worth?

It is more likely that the cross member requires replacing, if you are lucky, just the end sections. The jacking points themselves are fairly robust although they should be regarded as purely cosmetic.
1971 was the last year of the Traveller production and it could be fitted with steering column ignition

No harm in looking at it though.
