The book length for a saloon is 12 ft 5.5 ins. I have no info on the pickup, but I would say that it's time to git an extension.

A Pick-Up can be different lengths dependant upon the size you want to make the rear section. They all seem to be different (I'm talking about the ones with the wooded sides - not the metal sided ones).

Hmmm - it's very non-standard - maybe a Traveller conversion ? Says Traveller rear arches. The rear lights are ghastly - the paintwork seems to be several different shades (but that may just be camera angle etc) . The bonnet shows where the side strips have been removed - and it has an Austin grille, but has Morris 1000 badges (and crest) on the bonnet - which LCVs don't! There are no underneath shots -which is worrying.
I say - gang warily!

Don't be blinded by the very shiny paint.
You need to know what is underneath. Both the paint job and the car.
It might be worth taking a tape covered magnet to check for the presence of metal.
I've seen a 'pon artist recreate the rotten rear corner of a van with filler.
Looked great while t it lasted

doubt if its a converted traveller as it has pick up doors
take a small hammer and tap the chassis if it sonds mettelic and rings then prob ok, if you find a dull sound then could be rotten, try quite a few places with the hammer

A lot of Ebay adverts say 'no tyre kickers'.
I doubt that chassis hammerers will be very popular either.

'no tyre kickers'.
I'm inclined to think it's saying ' don't come round if you're not going to buy it'
Similar to 'no time wasters' I think this is a rather arrogant way to word an ad. Sorry, a bit off subject!

I agree Les, I was just gently suggesting that hammering on the chassis of a car you don't own probably wont win any popularity contests.
