after reading the post about temperature gauges, it has dawned on me that even though i have sensor and its wired up, it dosent actually go to a guage. where could it go? i have checked the wiring and it dosent reappear anywhere along the loom.

NG33 oops I typed a naughty word

It is very unlikely that the wire was ever part of the loom.
It would just have gone through the bulkhead to the gauge and another wire would have supplied power to the gauge.

As the temperature gauge was never fitted as standad to the Minor the wiring will not be included. The best reference is the early Mini delux wiring<br><br>
46 = Temp Gauge, 47 = Sensor, 64 = Voltage Stabaliser
G = Green, LG = Light Green, GU = Green/Blue
