Leather seat replacement for Traveller query

Every now and again I have a perusal on Ebay to see if there are a pair of grey leather front seats that'd fit my Traveller Benny.
I recall seeing some which Peetee had once which were from a Rover which looked great but were for a four door so didnt tip to enable access to the back seats.
Does anyone know which model (Rover or otherwise) had seats that would tip, come in grey / grey'y blueish and would fit a Traveller?.
Im ideally after the style similar that of the Newton Commercial Suffolk seats (which If I had the money I'd get - but I dont so I cant!
http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/cars/morris ... =43&type=1
All suggestions appreciated!
Cheers, Mike.

Mike 2 dr Metro seats fit although they need a frame bolting to them to enable them to fit the Morris floorpan. I've got them in my Convertible (bought them off ebay). Just transfer the drivers seat to the passenger side so the seat adjustors don't foul the safety belt operation.

Mike, Rover 100/Metro seats are slightly narrower than the "old" metro seats and therefore fit slightly better.

I've spotted rover 200 (Bubble) seats from the GTI - half leather - which look pretty good. Pete has Rover 200 BRM seats but 200 3 dr seats should work

I have grey leather seats in my Traveller which tip forward and have the square plastic headrests with the hole through the centre. The backrest release is a lever on the outside top edge of the seat and the recliner is operated by a plastic wheel on the inside edge of the seat. I was told that they were off a Maestro but they also look very similar to the seats fitted in the Rover 216GTI. They are very comfortable and only cost me £30 the pair. The most expensive bit was the adapter frames.

Thanks Mike P -I'll add both the Maestro and the 216 to my list of Internet searches.

Mike, believe it or not I'm still checking ebay for both Rover and Metro seats. The lack of 2 door Rover 200's is very apparent. The sporting coupe's were fitted with Recaro type which were either black or tan it seems. Most high-spec leather clad Rover 100's were 4 door. i did see a pair in dark blue once but they were pick up only, in Lancashire :(
If you can do without leather then these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Classic-Rover-Min ... 286.c0.m14
are a nice pair. Both me and Carlo have had these and can vouch for them.
Still looking mate.Hang in there.

In my experience, Rover 100 seats - as per the link above - aren't bad - certainly better than the early metro seats (as fitted in the trav atm) but its been many years since I've used normal minor seats, so couldn't really make a comparison...

I've heard that Rover P6 seats have been used in Minors. I think I'm right in saying that the P6 was only ever a 4 door, in which case, they won't tip forward for 2 doors and Travellers. Does anyone know?

The previous owner of my car fitted only one Newton Commercial seat   and getting another wasn't a top priority but I now find that they have changed the model, so if I bought one, it wouldn't match.

On a slightly related note, are there any modern cars, with seats that will fit a Minor, that have green seats?

I know that some modern MGs have a green section as did green rover 25 GTIs

Not sure about any with full green seats though
