I have a newly acquired Minor and am hoping to use her as my everyday vehicle. Any advice on how I can best protect the bodywork and the hood (it's a convertible) from the best of the British weather? My hubby had his new car treated with 'Gardex' when he bought it. Is this likely to be worthwhile? Thanks

Keep it indoors - out of the weather! If no garage - then a good car cover is essential - especially for a convertible. My 'Monsoon' from Coverzone has been very good so far!

Waxoil the hell out of every oriffice. You can get the hand pump ones now, worth every penny.

And as bmcecosse

says: Get a cover.

Yes agree with BMCECOSSE, I bought the best one Monsoon had and I can't fault it, mind still waiting for some good old Scottish wind if you pardon the expression to test it out properly.
