Well Kevin left not long after you, and he's got a smoke grey Traveller heading for Watford.... It did have a 1275 but perhaps he's upgraded his engine

Hi Andrew as Lou correctly guessed it was me in my Smoke Grey Traveller Lovejoy :D
Yes I did spot you with a nissan micra following but I dont think you were doing much more than 50-55mph.
Cheers

Parked at the end with the rest of the website cars near the fencing, you had sneaked into the row in front (the chrome wheels gave it away) although I didn't spot you by your car.
My Traveller was the one with the Speedwell badge on the rocker cover and my tee shirt said Morris Minor the Worlds Favorite Classic car :D

If properly "set up" Moggies "cruize" at 65/70mph! Nothing like a nice piece of Motorway

A little quicker than yourselves Andrew as I normally cruise around 60-70 depending on traffic and what I feel like, although sometimes a tiny fraction more when overtaking is required.

Hi Andrew I think Lou meant that a 1098cc engine in good order can cruise at that sort of speed but can be a little noisy, but its quite possible with a 948cc with a few alterations, next size carb and manifold upgrade that type of thing.

Which speedo do you have Dale the ignition light is either 85mph or 95mph depending on what you have fitted and both of those speeds were faster than I was travelling, I wonder how accurate your speedo is because if you drive at either of those speeds you cruise at faster speeds than me.
Cheers
