Wipers. Probably the wheel boxes are loose on the wiper rack.
Remove the glove boxes.
Tighten the 2 screws on the wheelbox assembly on drivers and passengers side. This will clamp the wiper rack and stop it moving about which is what is causing the problem.
Not sure about the clutch. Apart from the ticking noise, is it working OK?

Ticking noise could be that the carbon thrust has worn right down - remove the rubber plugs in the bell housing and peer inside - with a bright light! - and inspect the carbon, and the pressure plate in general.
Wipers - as above - but do the blades go off the screen on both ends of travel, or just one end ? If one end - move the arm round on the spindle (pull off and put back slightly round!) , if both ends then the wheel box will be worn. Good news is - the other half of the wheel in the wheelbox is completely unworn - so the trick is to take arms off, mark the spindles carefully with a marker pen - take the top off the wiper motor drive and undo/disengage the rack assembly. Then pull the rack out until it clears both wheel boxes, then turn each spindle 180 degrees - and twist the rack over also 180 degrees - then re-insert the rack (slap some Moly grease on it ) and reconnect everything. You should now have unworn rack working unworn sections of wheel. The wipers should be like new!
