Hello all,

I was hoping for some advice about buying a Morris traveller. First of all where should i look for the best deals and reliability?

I am a newcomer to travellers and apart from the obvious problems what do you avoid? And what should i be looking for? I don’t what a restoration job but will be able to do some repairs.

Also how much should you spend on reliable traveller?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The woodwork is the important part, it is structural so if it looks dodgy walk away. Apart from that they rust in all the usual Minor places and have the same mechanical problems.
Put your location in your profile then when we know where you are you can possibly talk someone into going with you to look at Travellers.
I would start looking around the £2500 mark upwards but don't ignore prices below that, you may be lucky.

There is no real answer to that unless you want to go to one of the traders and pay a premium for a restored car, as Mike says put in your location in your pfofile and we can point you in the direction of your local branch who should be able to give you direct advice while showing you a few examples so that you have some sort of yardstick.
