Hi all, i just wanted to post the progress on dolly my 1961 2 door saloon

,<br>Image<br>

after many months of hard graft i took dolly for her first mot yesterday, the first one since 1996 and she flew through without any advisories, she was also registered with the morris owners club.

<br>Image<br>

the mot man commented when he looked on the underside, is this a new car lol

<br>Image<br>

and a bigger surprise when he opened the bonnet

<br>Image<br>

i have to wait until my new tyres arrive and i also have to re classify the car to historic vehicle on the v5c then she will be on the road. oh yes this one will not be traded in for the £2000 scrappage scheme grrrrr.

dusty :D :D

I wish Sidney looked that good...

Congratulations with it, it's looking great, maybe if we go to any of the same shows next year (when I finally have mine back on the road) we'll have to mark next to each other as our cars are almost identical, and that colour is quite rare! :D

there are still bits to do, but now dolly is on the road, all the jobs can be done as a rolling restoration
