Traveller - boxing panel replacement=wood removal?

I'm about to replace the boxing panels and sills on the O/S of my Traveller. The floor is solid as is the inner sill/step on both sides. Can I safely remove the timber frame (which needs replacing anyway) if I support the car underneath? I will have to at least remove some of it to get at the whole length of the boxing panel.

We didn't when we did ours, had no problems fitting the new wood or with it since.
However, might be worth ringing ST Foreman for their view. They made our wood. They advertise in MM.

Many thanks for that, Neil. I gave it some thought and decided to go for it whilst supporting the floor along the strengthening panel under where the back seat goes. Here's what I found (not too bad) ;
