Hi
Fitted elec ignition, later found it to be faulty! New one has arrived but just doesn't want to work, doesnt seem to fit may need spacers. Is this right or are there different types?
Please advise

There are different types, can you upload a picture?

It should be a Lucas distributor on a Minor not AC but I think you have the right one.
Instructions are here:
http://www.newtronic.co.uk/new/support/ ... s_v1-3.pdf
Paragraph 7 looks informative.
Don't start butchering stuff in frustration, if it doesn't fit right first time go back to the instructions and also look at what might not be clear like which way up does the magnetic disc go?
Can't you take pictures on your mobile then move them to the memory card and read that off your PC.
That's how I do it.

I bought one of these from ebay for £20 3 months ago and have been very pleased so far.
It's item number 120452911138 if anyone is interested. I'm nothing to do with the seller - just a happy customer.
